Week 1 of the 2024 BAFA season and we hosted Colchester Gladiators at Southbrook Fields.
By half time Gladiators were ahead with a 10-3 lead, and despite some great efforts Storm, Colchester held onto a narrow lead until the last few minutes of the game and secured the win with a scoop and score from a Storm fumble. Final score 17-9. Never deterred, the team are keen to bounce back at their next game on Sunday 21 April when we host Cornwall Monarchs.
Thank you to Amy Pope Photography for the fantastic game day photos.
